Installing AXIS on ServersPlease note that you need to install AXIS Libraries only first time when you are setting up the servers. Installing AXIS versions should be done remotely using AXIS GridLink Utility.
1. Download AXIS version from http://www.ggy.com/downloads/authenticate.asp?page=downloadindex to a folder on your workstation Compatibility Between AXIS and GridLink versions Please note that a new version of AXIS may not work with older GridLink versions. In this case, GridLink upgrade is required. To check the compatibility between AXIS and GridLink versions, please click here. Compatibility Between Old AXIS versions and Windows Server 2008/HPC Server 2008 Operating Systems If you are running old AXIS versions on Windows Server 2008/HPC Server 2008, it may report an error "Unsupported OS!" on start-up. You have to run AXIS in a compatibility mode as a workaround. This problem has been fixed in later versions.
