Installing AXIS on Servers

Please note that you need to install AXIS Libraries only first time when you are setting up the servers. Installing AXIS versions should be done remotely using AXIS GridLink Utility.

• Install AXIS Libraries on each server as following:

1. Log on to the server or be at the console

2. Download AXIS Libraries package from:

         http://www.ggy.com/downloads/axis11download.asp

3. Install AXIS Libraries according to "Installing AXIS Libraries" section of the following document:

         http://www.ggy.com/support/kbase/kbdetails.asp?searchterm=&articleid=343

• Install required AXIS Versions using AXIS GridLink Utility:

1. Download AXIS version from  http://www.ggy.com/downloads/downloadindex.asp to a folder on your workstation

2. Run AXIS GridLink Utility and connect to your farm

3. Choose Deployment/Install AXIS menu and follow the instructions on the screen

Now the farm is ready to use.
