The Standard toolbar is optional and, if selected, may be undocked and relocated around the screen by the user. It contains a number of Windows standard icons, to open, create and save objects, to perform cut and paste operations using the Windows clipboard, and to print the contents of the active window, etc. In addition, it also contains shortcuts to System Parameters, Dataset Parameters and the processed scenario information. If you place the mouse pointer on a Toolbar icon and pause for a second, the Tooltip for that icon will appear to identify its function. All operations available through the Standard Toolbar icons are also available through Menu Bar menu items or action buttons.
Selecting (Hiding) the Toolbar
You may activate or hide the Standard Toolbar by right clicking anywhere in the Application Title Bar, the Menu Bar, the Toolbar itself (if visible and docked) or the Action Bar. A pop-menu will show whether the Standard view (Toolbar visible) is selected or not by a check mark. Left click this Standard item to toggle it on or off.
If the Standard Toolbar is undocked (displayed in a small window somewhere else on the screen), you may also hide it by right-clicking on the Toolbar's window title bar, and selecting the Hide option.
Undocking (Docking) the Toolbar
If the Toolbar is visible and docked (located at the top of the main application window immediately beneath the Menu Bar), you may undock it by clicking anywhere on the toolbar other than on a button and then dragging it to another location. After it is undocked you may move it anywhere else by dragging on the toolbar's window title bar.
You may redock the Toolbar by dragging it on to the Menu Bar at the top of the Application Window.
Toolbar Buttons
The exact action of the Toolbar buttons will depend on what type of object is currently being viewed or what action is being performed. Some Toolbar buttons will be deactivated when their normal function is not available.
