Update Description |
AXIS will not start on Windows 2008 Server.
Older versions of AXIS can be started by using the following workaround.
If this AXIS version is used locally, please follow the instructions below:
1. Create a shortcut for Axis.exe.
2. Right click on the shortcut and select "Properties" from the menu.
3. Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
4. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
5. Choose "Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1)" from the combo box below.
6. Click OK.
If this AXIS version is used on a GridLink farm, please follow the instructions below:
1. Log onto the server under the GridLink service account.
2. Right click on Axis.exe and select "Properties" from the menu.
3. Click on the "Compatibility" tab.
4. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:".
5. Choose "Windows Server 2003 (Service Pack 1)" from the combo box below.
6. Click OK.
