What is covered by AXIS GridLink initial license fee?

  • GGY will help the client review current equipment, configuration and procedures
  • GGY will provide recommendations for the optimal hardware and software configuration for the farm and help the client review proposed equipment specifications to verify that they match recommendations
  • GGY will provide recommendations for data security and data flow related procedures based on user requirements and best practices
  • GGY will help with the installation of AXIS and AXIS GridLink software on the farm at the location specified in the contract
  • GGY will oversee the initial testing phase to ensure optimal GridLink operational conditions are reached
  • GGY will provide training for your GridLink farm IT support personnel and AXIS GridLink users
What is covered by AXIS GridLink monthly maintenance fee?

GGY will provide ongoing support for AXIS GridLink IT personnel and end-users for the farm at the location specified in the contract in the following areas:

  • Investigation and resolution of errors and incorrect behavior of AXIS and GridLink software (*)
  • Help in resolving equipment-related problems that affect AXIS GridLink performance (**)
  • Training for new users of the existing farm
  • Help in provisioning and installation of the AXIS GridLink software in the case of equipment upgrade for the existing farm at the location specified in the original contract (up to 3 hours of GGY's time)
  • Research and development of new AXIS GridLink features requested by the client if GGY determines that these features will benefit other users (***)
  • Development of general enhancements to the software to improve performance, stability and ease of use
  • GGY will provide regular software updates with fixes and enhancements for AXIS GridLink

(*)  GGY will investigate all reports of AXIS GridLink software malfunction. In some cases the errors may result from the fact that the vendor requirements for AXIS GridLink are not met (e.g. real-time antivirus exclusions are not set up as required). In such cases GGY will point out the cause of the problem to the client. If the client is unable or unwilling to correct the problem, any time spent investigating subsequent reports of the problems that originate from the same cause will be chargeable at the hourly rate specified below.

(**)  The amount of support included under this agreement for GridLink malfunctions due to the client's hardware problems or due to a third-party product affecting AXIS or GridLink performance is limited to 3 hours per incident. GGY reserves the right to charge an hourly service charge for investigations over and above this limit.

(***)  If the requested feature is unique to a particular user application or is needed urgently there may be a charge that will be determined on a per request basis.

What will GGY charge for work not covered by the AXIS GridLink monthly maintenance fee?

GGY's rate for providing support services for AXIS GridLink that are not covered under the monthly maintenance fee is $250/hour plus applicable taxes [2009 scale].
