Scheduled Training - General Asset

This full day session extends the capabilities of any AXIS user who has attended an overview session but still has limited experience with modeling assets in AXIS. This session introduces participants to the fundamental aspects of the asset module of AXIS.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to …

• Set up economic assumptions in the Global Scenario
• Set up fundamental asset terms (e.g. bonds, mortgages, equities)
• Produce asset cell output interactively and within a batch process
• Compare asset cells and discuss the differences in both assumption screen input and resulting output
• Reconcile basic asset cell results output (i.e. CY & PY Reports) with assumption screen input
• Reconcile supplemental cell results output (e.g. Investment Summary) with basic cell results output
• Use overrides and override sets
• Produce a simple analysis of a small number of scenarios

This session continues the demonstrations and exercises of the Overview. Participants begin to develop an understanding of how AXIS uses financial concepts within the software and how the software can be applied to typical financial tasks.
